Files and schoolwork can be saved locally using the on-board 32GB SSD. Peripherals can be connected via two USB 2.0 Type-A ports or two USB 3.1 Type-C ports. The Type-C ports can also be used for power delivery, or for extending or mirroring content to additional displays. Users can also cut down on wired connections by using Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity to pair with wireless accessories. Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 is also incorporated, allowing users to benefit from stronger signal strength when accessing wireless internet. Featuring a built-in card reader and expansion slot, the HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE allows users to easily access media or increase storage space using microSD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards. Supporting multi-touch gestures, the touchpad is accompanied by a textured, island-style keyboard with anchored keys designed to survive spills. Complementing this rough-and-ready interface, this Chromebook also uses rubber bumpers and a reinforced charging port, and is subjected to MIL-STD 810G testing. And, with up to 10 hours of battery life, the Chromebook 11A G8 EE has enough juice to last through a full school day and then some.
