Specs exactly as described. The screen looked brand new, which I was worried about as I've never bought refurbished before. But I'm super happy with this order, thank you!

The computer is working well so far, it came with the wrong charger though, if you buy you’ll need a type-c charger to charge the Surface Go. It’s a decent size, and I got it pretty quickly!!

Microsoft Surface Tablet

A Microsoft Surface tablet is a lightweight, portable tablet that can help you stay productive on the go. With a wide range of models to choose from, you can easily find a Surface tablet that fits your needs and your budget. Surface tablets are available with touchscreen interfaces (the classic tablet style), but some of the larger Surface devices also have attached keyboards which is great for those who feel more comfortable with a laptop-style setup.

When it comes to connectivity, Surface tablets can connect to any WiFi network. If you plan to use your tablet mostly at home, in the office, or other locations with WiFi available, this might be enough. You might also choose to buy a Microsoft Surface tablet with 4G capability to stay connected anywhere there’s a local 4G network available. If you want a 4G Surface tablet, you’ll need to pay a monthly fee to a carrier to use the 4G network.

Surface Tablet features

Surface tablets run on Microsoft Windows OS (except for the Surface Duo, which runs on Android). This means you can use apps like Microsoft Office, Outlook, and more on a Surface tablet.

Here are some more key features to consider when shopping for a Microsoft Surface tablet.

Size

Like all Windows tablets, Surface tablets come in a range of sizes. Within the Surface Pro line, the Surface Pro 8 has a 13-inch screen size while the Surface Pro 7 and 7+ both have 12-inch screens.

The Pro X, which is a 2-in-1 detachable tablet/PC hybrid, has a 13-inch screen. The 2-in-1 Surface Book is essentially more of a laptop with a detachable tablet screen, but offers a slightly bigger 15-inch display.

The Surface Go line offers more portability with a smaller display of 10-10.5 inches depending on the model. The Surface Go is great for everyday tasks and watching videos, but it is less powerful than other Surface devices. It’s also the most affordable Surface tablet, especially if you buy a refurbished device!

Storage and Inputs

Microsoft Surface devices have six different storage capacities: 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 GB and 1 TB. Most Surface tablets also have a microSD card slot, which allows the user to add a memory card for additional storage.

In addition to the microSD card, Microsoft Surface tablets are available with several other inputs: USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, microSDXC slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack, MicroHDMI or Mini DisplayPort video output, and a port for the cover.

Kickstand

Surface and Surface Pro tablets feature a built-in kickstand. This lets you use the tablet hands-free at a variety of angles. The kickstand is especially useful for streaming videos or reading content.

Used and Refurbished Surface Tablets

Buying a used Surface tablet can make it much more affordable to try out all the features and fast processing times this line offers. As with any used tech, it’s important to buy from a certified refurbisher in order to make sure the device works as expected.

All devices at Back Market are expertly renewed and tested to ensure optimal performance. Plus, you’ll get a minimum 12-month warranty and 30 days to change your mind. With any Back Market purchase, you also have the option to add protection against theft and damage.

Is a Surface a laptop or a tablet?

Well, both. The Microsoft Surface line encompasses both tablets and laptops, as well as hybrid 2-in-1 devices such as the Surface Book and Surface Pro X. Features such as detachable keyboards and compatible accessories offer plenty of flexibility to fit your needs.

What is a Surface tablet used for?

You can use a Surface tablet for work, school, streaming videos, and staying in touch with family and friends. You can use email and text messaging on a Surface tablet, as well as get your work done with Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, and more.

Can a Surface tablet replace a laptop?

Many users find that the Surface tablets are just as fast as laptops, and with a keyboard and mouse, it’s possible to replace your laptop with a Surface tablet.
