My new macbook arrived quicker than promised with immaculate and professional packing. While the computer was listed in "Very Good" condition, it was like new and very clean. It was difficult to detect any signs of use. It's been working very well and has exceeded expectations. The seller included a brand new charging cable, hard case, and keyboard cover. For reader: BackMarket changed “Item Quality” to “Very Good” on their backend so you cannot see I ordered excellent. Item condition ordered was “Excellent.” This is a precursor to how they operate… First product sent? Grade C What was ordered? Excellent Replacement received? Grade B with scratched screen. BackMarket’s response? “If you aren’t happy, send it back” Did they transfer purchased warranty to the replacement they sent? No Time spent unable to work due to BackMarket not delivering what I ordered? 1-1/2 weeks, & still never got an excellent machine which I paid for. This cost me over $2,000 that’s just gone. Secondly, they NEVER TRANSFERRED THE $80 warranty I paid for, and responded with “figure it out with Asurion” That’s clearly not the customers job when you are making the returns! By far the worst experience purchasing electronics ever. They did not deliver what I ordered on 2 attempts, no discount for issues, and currently don’t have the warranty I paid for. This company sells crap and doesn’t take accountability for their mistakes or do their job, they put it back on customers.
