    I'm pretty happy so far with this purchase. I think it's a little bit more expensive than if I had dug around on ebay, but it's a worthwhile trade off because it comes with a guarantee, a healthy battery and a new charger. Yep, it had a scratch on the outside and a dead pixel (if you look hard enough) but that's what I expected. I bought the 2015 because it has replaceable components and I refuse to buy new from Apple. RIGHT TO REPAIR is REALLY important to me. BackMarket is giving a second chance to electronics so that they do not end up in the landfill.

    Very sad experience. I was initially very impressed with Backmarket and the MacBook Air I bought, told people how great the experience was. But then I realized it's not connecting to our home network and thus, I can't get online! My other Mac products connect to our home network just fine. I tried to get tech help and Backmarket said I had to contact the seller. I went through protocol, sent a note to the refurbisher, the automatic note said I would be contacted in 1 business day. It's been 5 business days and absollutely nothng. I tried to contact Backmarket but all they do is display a bunch of articles. It quickly becomes impossible to contact any human customer service rep to help - everything is a digital stone wall designed to keep you from solving the problem and getting help. Do NOT buy from this company until they humanize their policies. Clever copy, cute brand personality but it all means nothing when your computer doesn't work and there's no way to get help.

    Would give it a 0 if I could. The MacBook came “locked” it said “Remote Management "Groupon Inc." can automatically configure your computer. Learn more about remote management” and I couldn’t get passed it. I contacted the seller to fix it and they tried to remove it but couldn’t fix it. I’m returning it and getting my money back. I knew it was too good to be true. Seems like the laptop was probably stolen and they’re trying to resell it. I wouldn’t recommend using this site to anyone. I thought the products were supposed to come in working condition. Waste of excitement, time, and money

    I was excited but there's a few things that will be a problem. There's a few discolored spots in the sides which was in the description but on the left side there's a spot that clicks sometimes when I'm not even touching it and that's a problem. Also it's kinda slow, which may also be a problem because I work with Photoshop and that uses a lot of memory.

    The laptop turned out pretty good. Everything works well, and the system is responsive as expected. The body of the laptop was a big dinged, but that comes with used. Overall, I feel I got my money's worth and then some. I'm happy with the purchase, and it was a great way to get a Mac without taking out a mortgage. I would buy from Back Market again.
