    Minor damage to one corner but it works great. Battery isn't like new, but holds up for 5hrs on the average casual usage. I replaced the 4gb ram with 16Gb and also replace HDD with SSD. It runs like new. 5 stars.

    Good price for an entry-level iOS development tool. You can add a high-speed SSD drive using a $17 NVMe adapter. Run the internet restore to load Monterrey on the SSD and this older machine perks up quite a bit. It could still use a more modern CPU and more memory, but it does OK for simple app development with the latest version of XCODE.

    I've been very pleased with the performance of my Macbook Pro. That pesky magsafe power connection started giving me trouble within a few months though.
