    Laptop is/works fine, I don't regret going the refurb route. Definitely looks like it was pulled directly out of some college kid's backpack and shipped to me- covered in schmutz and grime and smudges and stickers and crap. Taking literally 5 minutes to clean it before reselling it would have made a significantly better first impression, but overall it seems to be in good functional shape.

    I ordered a laptop that was in "good" condition and honestly it came in almost new condition. There is only 1 deep scratch on the laptop but its on the bottom and its only about an inch in length. The screen and keyboard came in perfect condition, everything works well and I was able to update my Mac to the latest os system with ease. Great first experience ! I will say when I first got the laptop it was really dirty(so was the charger) and I had to wipe it down with a Clorox wipe and the prongs on the charger where bent slightly. But charger still worked.
