    The external condition of the phone was good. But the battery condition was "service" . I also purchased phones previously from here, and the excellent-condition phones had better batteries in them. The last one I got had 96% battery life, and this one only had 75% in it. I was not aware that they had changed their policy, and I saw some other reviews as well with battery issues. I think they are just trying to promote their brand new battery business policy, which is fine. I believe the battery health of the ordered phone should be listed in the description.

    This SE arrived quickly and looked fine, but the refurbished screen was extremely inconsistent in registering touch. Sometimes it seemed fine, most of the time you had to press down really slow and hard and some of the time it wouldn’t register at all. Also, it got so hot it would stop charging. I ordered a second SE from a Back Market seller ($20 more and slower shipping) and had to live with this one for more than a week until I could transfer my data and accounts and return the first one. I just dropped it at UPS today, but I’m expecting my refund promptly. It was just a pain in the butt to have to set up two phones in two weeks. I guess not every refurb is perfect. But the second phone seems fine so far. So it was a refurb problem, not an SE problem.
