    I was super skeptical and was very concerned because of all the mixed reviews of back market in general but I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try and I’m so happy to say that it was a very good experience. The product from this seller was accurate and in better shape/condition than I expected. I had no issues setting up the laptop. I was using it within minutes after I set up the user account. So far I have no qualms or issues with the function and use of the computer. I would purchase from this seller again in the future :)

    Have had the product for about a week now and can honestly say this is precisely as advertised. The aesthetic condition was listed as "Very Good," and is every bit as it says. Extremely minor handling imperfections and scuffs on the back of the stand and near the port holes. Bottom line: $1,378 USD for a 2014 iMac retina 27" display i7-4GHz quad core 1TB SSD 32GB DDR3 ram w/ AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4GB = 1 happy camper. Scoured the internet high and low looking for the best deal. Other sites had iMacs not even CLOSE to this spec'ed out starting at $1,500. This is for sure a place to consider when purchasing any refurbished Apple product. P.S. I know this is important to a bunch of people so I just want to add that the packaging was incredibly eco-friendly and light. One large box, some inflated bags and the contests of my purchase. Thoughtful.

    Let me tell you - I had a lot of anxiety about this order. At first, I saw a ton of amazing reviews from BackMarket and also from the third-party vendor. Once I clicked submit payment, I dug further for more reviews and did a lot of searching on Google for outside reviews. You can imagine it was a lot of nightmare-ish reviews. But once I got my MacBook Pro, propped it open (freaked out for a second when it wouldn't turn on....because I didn't charge it duh), everything was working as expected and it's been a couple of days, still good so far. The laptop came in as expected and in a balloon kind of bubblewrap so it wouldn't be damaged from the delivery. The third-party vendor was also in the US but Blackmarket is in France? So thankfully, I didn't have to worry about international shipping issues. Here's my situation to go refurbished: I'm taking a cybersecurity training course that required me to create virtual machines for virus testing and pen-testing. My Asus PC laptop was too old and would brick whenever I tried to load VM Player and even download the VM files. I also obviously can't use my work laptop since it needs admin privileges and I really shouldn't be doing this kind of work on my work laptop anyway. I spent $$$$ on the most brand new mac book air with all the bells and whistles and with the M1 chip and Big Sur OS. After a day of blood, sweat, and frustration, the bottom line is that the new Big Sur OS does not have kernels. Companies like virtualbox need you to have them and some users on stackoverflow got it to work, but most like me....could not. Virtualbox is free and open sourced so it will be a while before they can catch up to all the new hardware and software changes. Next thing to try: let's load Windows onto my mac and do virtualization that way. NOPE. M1 chip does not allow Boot Camp. WOW. USELESS. Please note I didn't want to go back to using a PC and didn't want to get a Linux laptop. Mac is just a new personal preference now. I had to go refurbished so I found this 2019 mac book pro with Mojave OS and everything I needed to do WORKS. I got 1 TB storage and 16 GB of memory. Yes, there are options on mac's site for refurbished stuff but I really didn't want that god-forsaken Big Sur OS. I needed Catalina and under. For what I paid and how it's working, this was legit. I think most people's complaints come from iphones and ipads. Let's hope this will work for me for the next couple of years or whenever Apple decides to accommodate developers better.

Recently bought a "good" condition Macbook Pro 13.3 Mid 2012, which I'm currently typing this review with and haven't had any issues other than the battery (that they disclosed in description) . They list any issues you'll run into if they happen and run down the system of that product.
