    It has a sticker on the casing and I suspect there may be scratches under there which is why they put it on it. Aside from that there is a chip on the inside near the top right of the keyboard. Outside of all that it functions and it can get the job done that I needed.

    The computer overrall works well. Theres 2 issues. For reference I have another 2019 27in Imac Im comparing this to. First, the webcam isnt the clearest. I make loom videos all day, so this is a big issue to me. Not the biggest deal because Ill just buy a webcam. Second, the start up on this is obesely slow! It takes forever to get past the log in screen. When your at the desktop, it take a few minutes for everything to load. It takes forever for safia to actually be useable and connect to websites. I compared it to my 27in i5 and the i5 blows this out of the water when it comes to start up. After start up there arent any issues. I dont have time to send this away for repair. So i guess im stuck with it as is.

    Softnetworks LLC does not inspect or repair laptops to Back Market standards. This laptop arrived with battery health at 76%, which is below the Back Market 85% requirement. And the battery arrived totally dead booting to a POST error (real-time clock power loss), which indicates a larger issue than just degradation. Additionally, the system was missing drivers, including Wi-Fi, so the system could not be setup because Windows 11 setup requires a network connection. So I sent it back for a battery replacement and a functional OS image with proper drivers per the Back Market Quality Charter. Softnetworks LLC then replaced the battery with a defective/counterfeit part. The replacement battery claims a Design Capacity of 41.58 Wh, whereas the original battery lists the correct 53 Wh Design Capacity. Even if it was a good 41.58 Wh battery, which it is not, that is still only 78% battery health. Still below the promised 85%. In addition, the counterfeit battery's Terminal Voltage (10845 mV) is far below Design Voltage (11550 mV). Finally, the laptop lost power suddenly at 36% then would not turn back on. This means it had suddenly dropped to 0%. I also noticed that this is a bit of a Frankenstein laptop because while the lower half of the clamshell (CPU and such) appears to correctly be the 2021 HP Elitebook 845 G8, the upper half of the clamshell (webcam/microphones/screen/lid design) is that of the 2020 HP EliteBook 845 G7. Just feels a little dishonest.

    Seems to be working great but there’s a huge scrape/set of scrapes on the back of the stand. I don’t know if that means it’s not in “excellent” condition. Maybe this warrants some account credit. I also didn’t get a choice on the color of the mouse and keyboard, even though the box showed options.
