    I was shocked to find the battery was completely depleted. Is that a new protocol in the shipping process? Since this was a gift, I'm glad I opened it early and discovered that it needed to be charged. The phone was in great physical condition and, once charged, seems to operate as expected. I was also surprised that there was nothing in the box to assist with the setup -- no printed instructions, no links, nada.

    Bought two iPhone 8s for my parents bday gifts. Moms phone works just phone but as soon as I move to my dads phone, it’s complete crap. All good appearance wise, but I was given a faulty, useless battery. Battery dies from 100 to 0 within minutes, randomly restarts, the list goes on… I paid for EXCELLENT condition, which means it should be that way inside AND out.. Disappointed..
