    I ordered an Iphone 12 paying extra for a new battery. The phone never worked, I wonder how it could even go through testing which is the reason for my low rate. How can you ship out a phone that does not work? The battery never charged and the phone would turn off if disconnected from charging. Even plugged in, the phone restarted every 3 minutes or so. I have returned it and it was picked up by UPS 7 days ago. Not one communication since then, not even to acknowledge receipt. The quality of the after-sales service and follow-up support makes the quality of a selling platform and I don't feel very confident right now in BackMarket.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED in my latest iPhone order. This was the third iPhone I have purchased for myself or on behalf of a family member from BackMarket, and the condition was not what I paid for. The Excellent Condition phone I ordered and paid for came to me with very visible chips on the body on three corners. I contacted BackMarket and they provided a price correction to reflect the true condition. They stated "I wanted to clarify that it is the seller who selects the condition of the device. However, it seems that there may have been a mistake made during the processing of your order. Please rest assured that such issues are not very common, and I apologize once again." The phone was for my mom and she was fine with using a case, so we kept it. However, I am also wanting to upgrade my phone, and I am rethinking options. I will either use Backmarket and carefully select the seller, or I will return any phone that does not reflect the condition I paid for. Just disappointed things didn't work out as well as they did with previous purchases from the site.

    I bought the phone, which took a while to arrive and once I finally received it I had to pay $30 dollars to get my service switched over (which isn't a big deal). A day into using it I went to put the phone on the charger and it had a short in it. I assumed it was the cord sent with the phone but it was the physical charger port in the phone. I reached out the the seller and explained what was happening, they sent me a return shipping label and I sent the phone back. After being without a phone for a week and a half, I received the phone back with the notion that the charger issue was fixed. The charger issue was fixed but the phone was sent without a sim card tray (idk why it was even removed). After reaching out about this issue, being without a phone/service for an additional 4 days, and getting nowhere I ordered a sim tray from Amazon. The seller got back to me stating that there was nothing they could do so they gave me a $10 refund. A day later my phone started turning off unexpectedly. Once the phone comes back on my battery is at 10% or lower. I literally will be on the phone and have 50-70% and the phone just turns off. Once I place it on the charger it takes forever to turn back on and it is basically dead. I have reached out to the seller and have not gotten a response. I understand you get what you pay for and the phone is refurbished so I didn't expect it to be in perfect condition with no scratches but I did expect it to actually function and work for almost $400.
