Apple Watch Edition Series 5

I received the apple watch on 10/28/25. I initially had issues getting it to pair with my phone. I finally, after hours of attempting, was able to get it all set up on 10/29. My daughter wore it to school on 10/30/25, left the house with it at 98% and it died as she was getting on the bus to come. As I was charging it, noticed it charged VERY slow. Messaged with tech support who walked me through checking the "battery health" which showed "service needed". The tech explained that I needed to get a quote on having the battery replaced and they "might" cover the cost of it; a watch that was sold to me in inadequate working condition I now had to potentially PAY to have a batter replaced. The only other option he had for me was to return for a refund. Which I am doing, because that is ridiculous to expect a customer to pay for something that should've been taken care of prior to even being shipped to the customer from the company. Would not recommend to anyone that they use this website / services.

Watch came with 73% battery health and wouldn’t hold a charge very long
