My mom has arthritis and has trouble working touch screens so when her beloved kindle “with the buttons” died she was discouraged because it’s an older model and she didn’t think it could be replaced. Thankfully Backmarket could help out. This may not turn out to be the most thoughtful present I ever get her but it will definitely be most well used. Thank you!

The battery was totally bad. Should have expected that for an 11 year old item. You can buy new one on Amazon. Also- you have to call Amazon to register because even after you update the software their is some glitch. BUT - in the end it all worked -which for an 11 year old item is great.

My Kindle Keyboard arrived ahead of schedule and started up just fine. Unfortunately it hasn’t been able to install the latest software update, so I haven’t been able to register it to my account or access wifi at all. I’ve tried multiple times with no success using the official Amazon site’s software. I’ve been trying to use the ‘contact seller’ link in your emails with no luck. I’m wondering if this is an issue that frequently happens with refurbished Kindles and any workarounds you might have. I was excited to get started reading several titles I saved to my account and I was disappointed when my kindle keyboard couldn’t support it.
