The first time I ordered a MacBook pro I had the wrong model delivered to me, but the backMarket staff were helpful and I got a full refund a week later. Once the return was received, I reordered the same model laptop and a few days later got exactly what I ordered, but with far less wear than I would have expected for a "Fair" rating! Very happy with this laptop.

I bought what was advertised as a 2015 MacBook Pro, but I was sent a 2014 MacBook Pro. I can't imagine that someone who professionally refurbishes computers could have made that mistake accidentally. Back market does not allow devices older than 10 years to be sold, so it is my opinion that the seller was hoping to sell a 2014 without me noticing. Of course I noticed. One year sounds like a small difference, but it is not. The 2014 cannot run Mac OS Monterey, which I needed it to run because this computer was a replacement for my longtime laptop that was damaged by someone. I needed it to be able to run all of the software I had before, So that I could actually get my data out of my TimeMachine backup. With the 2014, there was a bunch of software I couldn't even install. Also, it was supposed to arrive in "Excellent" condition, but it arrived with scratches and a nick/dent on one of the corners. I would accept the scratches but the dent on the corner concerned me, because it must have been hit against something pretty hard for that to have happened. I really wanted a 2015 MacBook Pro as I use USB-A, HDMI, and SD on the go and hate dongles and adapters. My first order from Back Market was a lemon and I had to send it back, but this one is PERFECT and I love it. The battery is in great condition, and the computer is in great shape. Very very happy with customer service for helping me get a refund on the lemon so that I could purchase this perfect model :D

Arrived fine and everything was working. Several months later the speakers blew out for no apparent reason, just started sounding really warped and grainy one day; I deal with it by using headphones. Overall happy with my purchase as I saved a lot of money on a decent laptop I can video edit with.

This computer works great. It shipped to me quickly. I needed to use support for a question and they responded fast. The next time I need to buy a tech item I will most likely be using back market!
