In buying an older intel-type Apple, I was a bit worried, but felt that the return option -January 31 - would give me a chance to see if this not quite new MacBook Pro would suffice. Short answer: YES it DOES!!! Moving forward, I suggest that most people buy at least a 16GB RAM device from 2024 onward. This one is 32GB RAM - and it's fast! I purchased this refurbished 2018 MacBook Pro to replace my 2013 MacBook Pro (purchased brand new 11 years ago). I'd intended to replace my old one in 2020, but that was the year the M1 came out. I don't like to buy the first iteration of any tech so I waited. And the world changed... I did buy an M2 Mac Mini but recently traded up for the newest M4 Mac Mini and I love that... I wish I could upgrade the MacBook Pro to the latest but not now. For my budget I can't buy the newest M4 MacBook Pro now. A lot has changed though... I work from home, so the desktop M4 is utilized much more than a MacBook. With that, using the 2013 MacBook Pro has become excruciating - so I decided to give this 2018 version a try since the cost is in reach for now. I ordered this 2019 MacBook Pro as opposed to buying another Lenovo PC. I wanted to start beginner-level programming. It arrived two days after I ordered and is in fantastic condition (I chose “Good Condition”). I’m super stoked with this purchase. I’ll be coming back to Back Market for more electronics purchases in the future!

It was actually just right. There was no problems with turning on or using anything on my Macbook Air 2017. The screen is perfect and it looks as though it is brand new.

I'm really enjoying the MacBook Pro. No issues other than Chrome is using so much power the battery only lasts for 2 hours. Safari is working great so I'm assuming it's a Chrome issue and am working on it.

I have purchased the refurbished iPads from Back Market before and they have always been great. I recently bought two of these for my grandchildren and they are awesome! They are in great condition and have a wonderful battery life. I highly recommend purchasing refurbished from Back Market!

I am really delighted. The condition was listed as "good" but try as I might, I can't find anything less than perfect about this 13" Macbook Air. The only question I had is whether it would be comfortable for my old eyes to edit photos/video on a 13" screen. I think I'm getting used to it, I think it will be similar enough to my 15" from 2009, but the picture quality and workability of the updated apps is clearly better on this new machine. Been using BackMarket for a few years now and I've purchased quite a few items for myself and family members. No complaints. I highly recommend them. This is always my first stop for refurbished electronics.

For starters, I ordered this macbook in “excellent” condition. The shipping was fast as it took 3 days to arrive. It met my expectations in appearance as it looks brand new, I only noticed a few scratches around the rim of the laptop but you would’ve to be searching for them to notice it but it is a refurbished item so its expected. So far it functions well, every button works, the battery health is 99% and setting up was quick. Im satisfied with my purchase but I haven’t had it for a full 24hrs yet and hopefully I come back with an update to say it still works because you never know but so far its good. The only thing I disliked was the packaging as it was in a bubble wrap put in a oversized box and to me thats not much protection for an fragile item as such but it still came functioning so im not too mad about it but it could of been a tragedy during delivery.

Same sentiment as the other reviewers: I'm very happy with my refurbished product and very disappointed to have a useless charging block that only works intermittently. To other consumers: I recommend budgeting for purchasing your own MagSafe 3 charger, or else be ready to pull your hair out as you hear the charging activation chirp every 20–40 seconds. To Back Market: it's insulting to continue "providing" customers with these chargers which you know to be malfunctioning. Either declare up front that your machines don't come with chargers or provide ones that work.
