    The phone arrived in decent condition. The only downside is that the security tape applied to the back cover left a mark, but it can be hidden with a protective case. The battery reached 85%, so it's not bad for the price; it exceeded my expectations. The screen arrived in excellent condition, and the bezels have a few small scratches, but as I mentioned, these can be hidden by the protective case.

    The device itself functions well, I am glad I made the investment. The item however arrived with an inventory sticker covering the entire back glass and when peeled away, left a thick adhesive residue that took me many hours to remove fully. The back glass is actually still technically clouded and altered from the residue and its removal process which is very very frustrating and not what I’d describe as “excellent” condition — no fault of backmarket though they did issue me a small refund for my trouble. The seller just isn’t doing them any favors or contributing positively to backmarket’s reputation.

    The phone was clean overall. Only signs of wear were near the charger port, which didn't concern me. However, the battery life was only 93%. With an excellent condition phone, I expected it to be higher, but it was above the 90% minimum that was promised, so I guess it met the requirements.

    iPhone is great, but it arrived with labels stuck to it that left a ton of sticky residue that was very difficult to remove. I kept finding more residue in the days after setting it up, which was very annoying to deal with.

    We didn't realized that the condition was "Fair" - didn't see it in the description. So we were surprised to see large dents, a small crack on the camera glass etc. but the screen itself is in a good shape. Also, the camera has a significant delay when trying to focus, especially up close, so the phone has to be moved back and forth until the focus catches on.
