    Ordered two 'excellent' monitors. Both packed nicely, but both dirty on the screens and obviously used before I turned them on. First screen, no visible damage, but turn it on and the screen is fractured, destroyed. Second screen, plug it in, flickers and won't sync, have to change resolution and sync to FHD and 60Hz to get it to sync with either Mac I have. Go to return both, I can return the one, take the pictures and upload, print the ticket and proof of purchase, but then there is no way to request a return for the second one. I'm done with Backmarket; sellers used to be reputable, but lately the quality control is awful.

    I read the reviews that said Back Market was bad about sending the wrong power cords, but I thought I would try anyway. I received my laptop and it is not charged so I can't power it on and the power cord was wrong so I can't test it. So to reach out for customer service they don't offer a phone number, just submit a ticket and they will hopefully respond within 24 hours to open a chat feature to address the issue. Now I am having to wait hoping that I did not just spend over $500 on something that won't even work. And even if they will accept a return, at this rate of service it may take a while. If the product works this is a good deal but the customer service system needs revamping.

    Well, it works. I ordered an Excellent quality laptop. What I got, I would call good condition at best. A few dead pixels on the screen, dust stuck to the internal fan, factory decal is peeling off the back near the HP logo, not cleaned very well in or out. BUT IT WAS THE LAST ONE... I cleaned it, hopefully the dead pixels wake up with use. Bummed out because this was for my son. He needed something that he could use for middleschool and some light gaming. For some reason, these laptops are running on less voltage than their chips are designed for. I had to install universal x86 tuning utility to get anywhere near the performance I expected from a 3700u. The bios the original one from release date!! I had to update that, too. Battery health is at 80%. I would not call this EXCELLENT condition at all. Everything else I've gotten from Backmarket has been on par with expectations. This is a crazy one-off.
