This was not my first purchase with Backmarket! but it sure was the first worst experience. BEWARE!!! This seller shouldn’t be trusted. I had purchased an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset from them and it never worked since day one. I open a claim and backmarket asked me to sent back the item for a full refund, which I did shipped back! The seller took its sweet time to answer and when they did, their excuse was “had a problem with our platform”. A week later I notice that they only refunded me $8.45 out of the $352.75 - serious!? They responded 1 week later with “I will create the same promo code that you have used and in the next 24 business hours”. Ah uh!? It was more than 24 hrs! that past and after sending messages after messages, their next excuse was “Regarding your promo code, we are still waiting from an answer of our support team to provide me the correct promo code, please allow us 48 business hours and you will be receiving this through this conversation.” And after “48 Business Hrs” and more days of waiting they responded with “our team was doing our most to speed up the activation of your promo code. Fortunately, we have activated the token for you” Bang! The so call “promo code” was never valid! So I never got my refund and got scammed. Keep in mind, sellers can’t refund you back with a promo code, just in full through your method of payment. Buyers! Do your research on the seller who you will be buying from. I did it too late and right after I notice they were crafting so much excuses for a simple refund. They have been reported to the BBB by other buyers and have a bad rep of selling under other names too.
