    I'm very happy with my purchase. It did end up being the same amount as a new macbook air (I compared the prices) but for me reducing ewaste was worth it. Really happy to have found backmarket.     Laptop came with brown gunk on/under the keys, on the screen, trackpad, etc. Instead of enjoying it, I spent 45 mins cleaning it and had to remove keys to do so. I was told by support to download a third party app to look at the battery capacity since it was dying in less than 30 minutes on a zoom call, and the report showed 76% capacity. As I sat there on the laptop, they told me it should be more than enough for a days' use, yet in 25 minutes I was already at 53%. I'm asked three months later to use the box it came in, and told that "UPS usually will provide a box and packaging".. for free? no. I was recently laid off, and bought the laptop as an emergency means to virtually interview and start side gigs. I now have to go without a means of making any income for "7 days", which will likely turn into 10-14. No discount offered for the inconvenience, and packaging reimbursement wasn't offered until I pressed back on it. Very poor experience as of yet.
