    The MacAir I bought was not wiped properly (according to my daughter who recommended BackMarket) and it took great effort to set it up for me to use. I would have returned it immediately had my not my daughter been able to help me -- from another state. Would I buy from Back. Market again? Probably not. I would buy refurbished directly from Apple and have the benefit of their assistance.

    The macbook came in alright condition... was a little dirty and visually the only things that are wrong is the e key was not even on when it came in. The P key also does not function very good. I did buy a 1 year extension warranty so I think it may be alright. The charging brick was also very dirty and has like brown smudges on it which was a little gross but if you can get over that this is definitely worth the money. Ps will try to update if I ever send it back in and Ill let yall know how it goes. Also I have a battery notification that it should be changed out/ that it has gone bad and this is the first day with it lol, it came about 3 days late too.

    I've been using Backmarket since 2014 and I absolutely adore it. That said, this was my least favorable purchase... by a lot. I would have returned it, but I needed a new laptop fast and trust Backmarket to be there for me if I actually *need* to return it due to a hardware failure; my complaints are relatively superficial. Namely, the computer arrived filthy: some kind of gunk (food?) was caked onto the surface and on/around the keys, and there was a very thick residue from where the previous owner had taped over the camera. Took me good while to get it all off without causing scratches, and some of the tape residue is still there. The other thing: I chose this particular laptop because it had an i7 core and 256 gigs of solid state, which should have been a significant improvement from the other early '15 I was using. I expected this to improve the speed and battery life of the computer... but it operates basically the same as the weak Macbook I was replacing. All in all, it's a fantastic price for the machine I received and I stand by Backmarket - this was just a particularly subpar order compared to all of the devices I've received from Backmarket in the past. :)
