    My MacBook Pro arrived damaged. I got in touch with the seller and they were less than helpful in repairing the situation. They were slow to respond and when I asked about their inventory to replace the laptop, the seller stopped responding. I was able to return the laptop for a full refund. Unfortunately, I will not purchase through BackMarket again, as I believe it is BackMarket’s responsibility to vet their sellers, and this seller did a poor job at delivering what they promised and the level of service promised by BackMarket. Buy your next device from Amazon and or Apple Refurbished, you will be better off!

    Computer came exactly when they said it would in good condition as I had ordered. A few stickers on the body I had to removed and a little grime and dirt under the screen but still good condition. Said 2.5 GHZ on the site and came with 2.8 so it's kinda hard to complain seeing as it was basically a free upgrade. Still works fine and the specs said it was an upgraded ssd so it not quite what was advertise but for the price I won't complain.

    A seemingly great computer, shaded by a lie. Buyer Beware. An average rating for an average experience. When initially looking at this 2019 MacBook Pro 15" 32gb RAM 512gb SSD it had a sale price of $1700 from an MSRP of over $4000! Wow what a deal! 56% off is incredible... After receiving it, checking everything, and running a diagnostics check, I learned its original MSRP is only worth $2999. $1000 is a big difference. I am now second guessing my purchase because I don't know what else they lied about. Also, computer arrived fairly dirty with stickers and adhesive residue on it.

    I love the model BuyBack is using, but I have had a really frustrating and discouraging experience with the latest laptop purchase from DMD. I was sent the wrong product (year, size, and specs). I then got sent back the incorrect laptop to the seller to be replaced after they confirmed they would be able to send me the correct one. Upon receiving the returned device, they let me know they no longer have what I purchased. They offered me an alternative, which I accepted, only to have it reneged due to a price differentiation. Meanwhile, I have been out about $900 for over a month with no device. The only solution the seller, DMD Systems, is now offering is a refund. The customer service support at BackMarket has been disappointingly casual about the whole thing. Almost feels like "yeah, this happens all the time" kind of vibe. This is not only personally frustrating, but frustrating that this is the name BackMarket and their suppliers are giving re-used electronics. How will the resale market (a necessary model) take off with this type of service? I have purchased four other items from BackMarket, all of which have been generally good experiences. This latest interaction has been such an all-around bummer that I'm not sure I can recommend BM in good faith anymore. BUMMER.
