    This is my third iPhone I have purchased from this company. I was incredibly nervous about buying a refurbished phone, however, they actually have a warranty that comes with each phone. Unfortunately, with my first purchase of my iPhone 6s, I forgot about that warranty. My battery was bad when I received my phone. I bought a battery with the little kit to put it in....what a pain. Then, I must have messed up my home button in the process of changing the battery. Needless to say, the phone ceased to function. So, I bought my second one. Had I remembered that it had a warranty, I could have sent it back and they would have handled the battery issue. So, now I always check the battery health. Fast forward, my husband always used a flip phone, long story short.....it died, I bought him a new flip phone, which he absolutely hated. We have 2 iPads at home, which he knows how to use. I talked him into letting me purchase him the same phone I have. I have had other smart phones in the past, once you have an Apple, nothing else seems to measure up. His phone is doing great and he loves it! I welcomed him to the 21st century. Lol. I highly recommend this company and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family. Hopefully, I won’t need to purchase a phone any time soon. Also, they have an impressive sense of humor with great customer service! Thank you, thank you!

    I ordered a "Very Good" condition iPhone X from GadgetGone and found the phone to be in great condition! The battery came at 87% capacity which I am happy with.     The product was in excellent condition. My problem was that it was advertised as a GSM only device, but what I received was a CDMA device that was locked to Verizon, and due to the device being still associated with the original owner's account could not be unlocked at all. Thus I had to send it back. Was not offered a replacement even of a lower quality device. I spent a lot of time trying get the problem fixed before conceding it was pointless. Visited my carrier and Verizon, in the attept just so i wouldn't have to send it back and wait a week plus for a refund to become availble on my account. My question is how could a refurbisher not check and confirm the status of a device? And further, how could they send a CDMA device when they advertised it as GSM only. I can't risk buying from Back Market again since I have been twice disappointed buying items I really needed but did not receive because of seller errors or problems. Especially since sellers rather send a refund than a replacement. This purchase attempt will cost me 4 weeks of lost time. Particularly hard because I'm trying to replace a malfunctioning phone. Back Market, you've gotta do better with your replacement policy when the seller makes a mistake. Sellers should always offer to replace a device when they make a mistake. People don't want refunds they want the device they ordered. I should have been offered a replacement rather than a refund since they sent me a phone that was useless. Hold your sellers to account . There is no way to satisfy a customer with a refund. That will only frustrate and make that person seek an alternative seller. Which in this case is exactly what I'm going to do.

    The product itself was in pristine condition. Unfortunately there was an AppleID account lockout so I could not set it to my own Apple ID. The refurbisher GadgetGone responded promptly to my claim in a timely manner and sent me a return label to print out. The refund was processed once they received the return shipment and I will be getting my money back at the speed of PayPal.
