    I was initially delighted with the Pixel 8, but after a couple of days it developed a very weird intermittent problem with the display. I don't blame BackMarket for this because it would have been very difficult to detect during even the most rigorous screening process. Other than the fact that the help system is all-chat based with no option for a phone call, their helpline was very good. After a couple of reasonable attempts to resolve the problem, the person handling my case was very helpful in assisting me with arrangements to return the phone. My only quibble is that the company makes no provision for you to keep the phone you are returning long enough to use to set up the unit you are exchanging it for. So 4.5 stars out of 5 for BackMarket.

    I'm very pleased with my new phone! I've been a Pixel user for three phones, now, and love them. I knew I wanted the coral 7a from the moment it released. I finally have one! I also only paid half price for it - and got a trade-in value from my old phone, which I also bought used from BackMarket!     I have been a customer of Back Market before and the care, shipping and quality was what brought me back. The new phone I received is a breath of fresh air. Lots of storage, very fast, too. I also love the fact that I can trade in my used products to help defray the cost of the new products. Only downside is trying to find a way to physically contact Customer Service. My service provider has very specific criteria for being able to use a phone. Checking the IMEI is their primary way of determining if a phone will work on their service. Fix that and I am a very happy camper. I bought this phone on a chance and it worked okay. The previous phone I bought would not work on their service and I had to send it back.

    The phone seems to be exactly as - if not better than - advertised. Because of the holidays I have not yet had it activated. My only issue would be with the purchase. I learned - after the purchase had been completed - that a discount was available to me. It would have been nice to have known that beforehand. The discount will still be available for my next purchase, but that could be years from now. I am now using the phone. It is excellent, if considerately different from my much earlier model. My only complaint is that the phone no longer has what I think of as an RCA pin jack, which is necessary when I drive an older, non-Bluetooth equipped vehicle. At max volume the sound is not as loud as when playing through auto speakers. All in all the phone is very good.

    This phone arrived charged and ready to go. All it's buttons functioning, the camera works great. The biggest disappointment is the screen burn in. I going to guess this was once a sample phone because all home function buttons are burnt into the bottom screen and are very visible. This was purchased as "fair" and though this particular bit of info is not included as an option there it is. So the screen looks great when turned off not so much when on. I don't think there is any recourse since screen burn in isn't mentioned as wear and tear type of issue. I'm not happy with this. At the time it was a good price 7 Pro's are way more expensive now.
