    The phone works great and couldn't have known it was refurbished if I hadn't purchased it myself. The only thing I can say is older iphones lose battery really fast if you leave apps running but that's normal. So yeah, buy one its worth it for the price and quality.

    Just helped my mom get this phone set up thru Verizon...the phone itself appears to be in very good condition, as advertised, and is working great. The user interface is a slight adjustment for my mom (compared to her LG 3G flip-phone), but she's fairly proficient with Android tablets, so I'm optimistic she'll figure it out. Her biggest concern is all the extra functionality & options. Only complaints were the bubblewrap/gift-wrap packaging, no instructions included, and the USB Type A-to-micro USB cable that was included was bad (the micro USB connector has too much mechanical slop, and doesn't make connection to charge the battery), and no wall adapter included. I was able to search & find the 138-page user manual online, And she already had a good cable and wall adapter block, so we were able to charge the phone. Mostly happy that we're not paying Verizon's asking price for this flip phone model.

    I think I'm as happy with this purchase as I was back when the iPhone 4S was the newest thing on the market. The price was lovely, but the phone is even lovelier -- it's like new, in every way. No scratches. No fingerprints, even. Works beautifully. And it was, in fact, unlocked, which is highly appreciated. I am sold on Back Market. They hooked me with their mission to combat planned obsolescence (I too am deeply opposed to such plans), and now that they have delivered, I will definitely be back for future tech needs.

    The description of its condition is spot on. The phone also arrived promptly, so my experience with Back Market was really excellent! I'm using it really as a way to test live streaming video technology for my church (so it is either on WiFi or an PoE Ethernet dongle, no actual phone service) and it is working as intended. I have learned the iPhone 5s phones do really heat up when used as a video camera for a long period of time, but that is another issue.
