    Recieved the item but the battery was bad. It would not turn on unless battery discharge/ reset button was pressed. Then intermittent voltage drops would cause it to freeze often and was hardly usable. The only way to get anything done was to remove the battery and run straight from the charging cord.

    My order had the following problem: Bought in "Excellent" condition". Multiple dents on bottom of laptop. Top of screen was damaged near the camera (almost melted). All 4 USB-C ports are loose when connecting to them. They should click in and have some lock to them. Inside of computer is filthy. Fans are completely clogged and smells like incense. So it was most likely used in a heavy smoke environment. These laptops should be inspected and cleaned a lot more than this for "Excellent" condition. Also interior plastic casing it came in was from Amazon. The actual computer worked fine for the few days that I used it but condition should not have been listed as "Excellent".

    Device was shipped faulty. within 5 minutes of setting up ran into a company lock from the previous owner. clearly no quality control or checks by this company as this was the simplest possible issue to identify. had to return and will have to wait for a refund. steer cpear if you want a functional quality product in a timely manner. still no refund 6 days after mailing back. utter failure on seller and backmarkets end to uphold their own standards

    The keyboard hard and not responding very well. The computer platform is sticky, I don't know why but that surface can keep a lot of bacteria and dust. The space bar is hard, the touchpad works well but the right buttons is hard to hit and not responding. retro light is strange and some buttons are brightness the other ones. Im unfortunately returning it for fully refund after the seller offer me 20% to keep the computer. for me if you know that your computer has that problem you need to inform the customer. we are not dealing with defective devices.

    The only reason I did not give this a full 5 star rating is because my laptop came out the box with a bit of battery issues. It holds a charge just fine, but if you turn it on after a night of sleeping the battery diminishes very quickly.

    I’ll never buy anything from Back Market again! There’s obviously not thorough inspection done on the stuff that is being sold here! The laptop I bought had a completely incompatible battery in it. I spent over $130 on replacements to the battery that came in it, since I assumed the issue was that I kept getting defective batteries. After the 3rd battery, i had someone look into the situation, and it took him 6 minutes to figure out the battery was completely wrong for the laptop. Now i have to spend another $82 on yet another battery (the right one this time), and another $50 for the professional inspection and fix. So now, after this laptop ended up costing a total of (314+130+82+50=) $576…. So I’d say it was a regrettable experience!!

    Was disappointed to find upon start up that several type keys did not function. The classic typewriter test sentence, “The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog” hits all letters and would have identified this. The laptop itself was clean and well packaged, and the purchase transaction was easy. Just disappointed such a simple type key check did not catch this issue during the refurbishment.
