    I was leery of purchasing refurbished headphones. However, the new version of AirPods Max is the same outrageous price as the original, and has no wired option, which was a deal breaker for me. So I ended up getting a used 1st gen pair from here. It arrived in perfect cosmetic condition. Virtually no sign of prior use, and works great. Plus I saved about $150, so I'm pleased.

    First of all, shipping was real fast! Arrived in a box (the box wasn’t super clean but I really didn’t mind), a cover and a charging cord. The headphones are perfect, no scratch whatsoever, I can’t even tell they’re refurbished. No connectivity issues. So so worth it!

    I really like them. They are comfortable, the sound is high quality (I’m no expert though), and they’re in top condition. I wouldn’t have paid full price for these straight from Apple, so I love that I got them refurbished.     I bought the AirPods in the condition of "Fair" but they are literally perfect, the only thing that I can see is damaged is a chipped part that is near the rod that extends the AirPods but it is not visible to others and does not affect performance. The sound quality is also perfect!
