All seemed to be in order on delivery. I used windows update and the Dell updater app to bring it up to date. Seems like a solid and compact machine. Side note, it has a slot for SIM card, but doesn't appear to have a cellular modem.

Such a good buy that after the 1st one I ordered a second one for my kids. Mine works perfectly, downloaded all the programs I needed and I love it. Had a small glitch with the 2nd one that was handled super fast and got a replacement 2 days later. Just booted it up and it is great. I needed this laptop for school and was a little salty that my medical school did not provide tech support/applications for Mac users, which I have always been. I wanted something cheap that could do school but planned to rely on my Mac for personal use. I have been blown away by the quality of this computer. It is pretty fast and can run all the programs I have needed it to. The storage is decent enough and it's surprisingly light weight (lighter than my 2021 Macbook Air). I have found myself using it more than I expected and sadly, my Mac is gathering a little dust as it sits on my desk waiting idly. Would certainly recommend for school, work or just personal use if you don't need a laptop that has all the bells and whistles the new ones keep coming out with! A solid purchase.
