The headphone jack doesn't seem to work, but I'm convinced it's a software issue and not a problem with the laptop itself. Everything else works perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cosmetic condition of the machine. I took the back panel off to see if I needed to dust off the fans, and it was pristine inside as well! I appreciate the attention to detail. When I'm doing basic web browsing, I can get 6+ hours of battery life, but SolidWorks (which is what I bought this for due to the Quadro GPU) cuts that down as expected, to around 2.5 hours. I'm really satisfied with how well this laptop performs and how well the seller refurbished it. Thanks to all involved!

I ordered the Dell Precision 5540 15-inch (2019) - Core i7-9850H - 32 TB - SSD 1 TB, in "Excellent" condition. The delivery was a bit delayed but expected since I had ordered it during holiday season. The laptop came in overall great condition, but I had two issues with it. The battery capacity was less than the expected 85%, and the laptop lid was making a strange thumping noise when opening and closing the lid, indicating that the hinges might've been loose, or perhaps something else was wrong with the lid assembly. For a laptop that was supposed to be in "Excellent" condition, I believe that this was inadequate. I ended up contacting support, who were very respectful and understanding, and plan to return the laptop for a refund.

I really like the laptop in general. But there are two issues. First, the battery doesn’t charge fully and discharges suddenly when it goes below 50% to 10%. It should almost always be connected to charger (maybe 2 hour on battery). Second, the charger was included in the package. On the positive side, back market customer service is very responsive and helpful and gave me 20$ to buy the charger. Although I really like the laptop, I wish the seller was transparent about the battery issue or lack of charger.

Receives I got the computer delivered with no charger at first. Backmarket gave me a few options: 1) $20 dollar voucher for one; 2) send on in for exchange ; 3) contact the seller to send what should’ve been sent in the first place. I chose the third choice. Delivery was SUPER FAST! But when Inopened the box, I found a large blemish near the keyboard that did not meet the definition of “Good” condition. So far, it seems to work fine and the screen looks great! Further inspection of the keyboard area shows that there is some type of protective layer that is coming off. Still undecided if I’m going to send it back.
