It’s a Kindle. I’ve never tried another. But it seems they just don’t last like they used to. My first lasted several years. I replaced it with exactly the same full sized Kindle and it met with a weird one of a kind accident. So I replaced it again. When Kindle started the small size I bought those. I’ve had a lot of Kindles. The last one lasted 2 years. The one before lasted 1 year and 1 week. I am careful with them so I didn’t cause any damage. So I’d say they just don’t last like they used to. My only complaint about this one is it is too sensitive to touch. I’ve lost my place more than once. I also don’t like the on/off button being in the back. I’ve hit it more than once just picking it up.
