Buyer beware!!!! I received the device which had the appearance of mint condition as promised. It had serious issues charging and then stopped turning on altogether. I returned it in the same packaging and packaged precisely as initially sent to me. It was well-protected and the likelihood that anything happened to it in transit is virtually nil. It was sent back to me with the back hanging off and clumsily glued on. The vendor claimed that I had opened it, voiding my warranty. But why would I do that when it was on full warranty? Backmarket made no serious effort to push the vendor to change their tune. Instead they asked me for a photograph of the phone before it was sent back for warranty repair? Potential buyer, do you routinely photograph things you are sending back for warranty repair if they have no external defect? Because I don't have such a photo, or so they claim, Backmarket can do nothing and offers me a 5% discount if I ever were crazy enough to use their service again. I am out over $200 with no recourse. Potential buyer, who do you believe? Do you think I opened the phone to try to repair it myself, clumsily glued it together and sent it back in anyway? Or do you think the vendor purposely voided my warranty because they saw the dud of a device they sent me couldn't be repaired?
