I paid for excellent condition got something that i would consider below fair. Ipad had some deep scratches on the screen noticeable with screen on, the top corner was dented in and micro scratches all over the screen and worse of all the charging port did not work and battery drained while watching a movie in less than 3 hours. Very disappointed in this sellers inspection process. I will update if they try to pull more sneaky stuff like saying i caused the damages as i have picture proof of when i took it out of the box and packaged everything back in the way they sent it to me.

Given that none of the items met the advertised condition, I suspect this might be a common issue with BackMarket. The compensation offered for these discrepancies has been minimal, and it appears BackMarket is aware of the subpar quality of the electronics sold by their vendors. It seems the company might rely on offering small refunds to avoid negative feedback, rather than addressing the root cause of the problem. In my most recent order, an iPad Pro listed as "Excellent" arrived with a heavily scratched screen, noticeable dents, and extensive body damage. I ordered an iPad Pro 11 inch (2021) and received a different model than what was posted. I basically waited a week for the wrong item and now have to wait another week to get my money back. Then I have to redo the process of buying another, wait for it to get delivered and hope that I get the right product. So that is another week or two of waiting.
