I have spent literally hours attempting to understand why this dock is not functioning properly. I also purchased a new USBC 40Gbps cable to connect my computer to the dock as this did not come with the package as it should have. The computer I am attempting to hook the dock to was purchased simultaneously from Back Market. the monitors I am trying to hook up are brand new Samsungs. I have hooked up many systems in my time; this should be plug and play and it has been anything but. Happy with the computer and completely bummed with this faulty docking station.
