Final thoughts: The S26 may not be worth the upgrade

The new S26 series largely takes the features of the S25 series and marginally improves upon them, especially for the base and Plus models. The main differences between the S25 and S26 (and the S25+ and S26+) are the new chipset and improved AI features, making the $100.00 price jump for the S26 seem like a little much, especially if the new AI features will eventually come to the S25 line via software updates.
