I originally ordered this MacBook Air in January of 2022, but I felt like I should at least write a review since I've been doing it for all of my other purchases. From what I remember the MacBook was in surprisingly good condition: The battery was still good inside of it and there wasn't any performance issues for a 9-year old laptop. I did purchase the lowest quality condition, and I was expecting some cosmetic damage when I received it. The corners were bent in a little; you could tell someone had dropped it when they previously owned it, but for the price I didn't care one bit. If you're someone who absolutely wants the best looking laptop, I think you wouldn't be looking for second-hand laptops anyway. I ended up using that MacBook Air for about a year and half for school, and it did everything as I needed it to. It's obviously not the fastest thing you're ever going to purchase, but for everyday tasks like notetaking, video conferences, and entertainment, it did everything great! Apple products luckily hold up to the test of time when it comes to performance pretty well until they're not supported by software updates anymore. If you're looking for a laptop that gets the job done, I'd definitely recommend Apple and one sold by Back Market!

I ordered the MacBook Air 11.6-inch (2015) - Core i5 - 4GB - SSD 128 GB. I chose the ‘Fair’ selection and it came in absolute GREAT condition. Very, and I mean very small scratch here and there. It is flawless and functions as a brand new laptop. I was skeptical about buying another refurbished Mac. Bought an old white dinosaur (2009) from Ebay a couple years back and it was so slow and the pad didn’t work…..this laptop is AWESOME! Would highly recommend. I also like that they have insurance—added that for 2 years as well.

I have had my 2015 11 inch Macbook Air for only a few days and so far I am thrilled owner of this baby in mint condition. I am not a great fan of the latest Apple upgrades. The improved hardware/software modifications are expensive, less "intuitive" and less user friendly, especially the one-port models. On the other-hand, my refurbished 2015 11 inch is light enough to take with me. The two USB ports allow me much more flexibility. I can add on extra memory and documents , then store material on a thumb drive. That way I can work on my literal lap, without needing a desk surface. This model is early enough to give me the option of not using the cloud. The cloud does not work for me. I write and was forced onto the cloud 2 years ago when the battery died to my former one-port MacBook. Apple Repair sent that away for a few weeks and I carried on with my semi-retired 2011 and the cloud. I could access my files, but then discovered the back-ups of my documents were not what I expected (an exact replication ). On the cloud , different versions of the document were replicating with each other without my permission and what I got as offspring were a melding of different takes, none exactly mine. That's not helpful if you're a writer. You need your older versions and the latest changes as you create them,. Three weeks later my newest Macbook came back from Apple Repair without a new battery. There were other defects that made the repair unreasonably expensive. Instead, I decided to try for a new ipad. I did not grasp that the ipad and laptop are not exactly "interchangeable." Again the one port which unnecessarily enhances my sense of vulnerability. That's when I started to look into refurbished as not just a less expensive alternative, but for me, first-choice preferred. My 2015 looks and acts first-choice new, too. Spotless, swift, and a very portable two pounds. I learned that most " improvements" are really trade-offs. Peggy
