I am happy to report that the MacBook arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as described. Instructions helped get signed in so I could clear the test account and get started on making it mine! The condition of the laptop itself was great! It had one small ding that I couldn’t see without feeling it, so that’s nothing to complain about! Especially for a 3 year old laptop. The fair condition look practically brand new. Easy to set up with no issues at all. Love that it shipped & arrived fast and even had some battery life. Other than being an older model, I can't see how this differs from a brand new device. Easy purchasing process, quick shipping, excellent product for a really low price. Nitpick: I think I saved more than 50%, but the discount label suggested not as much savings. And it was a bit challenging to compare different items while shopping. This is super disappointing. I bought this MacBook to replace my old one, and chose BackMarket because I’m unemployed and need to keep costs low. It worked perfectly for the first 3 weeks. I was impressed by the speed, the function, the features, and quality of the device. It looked brand new and was lightning fast. Then today, 1 day before my return deadline, it started crashing out of nowhere. Every time it restarted, it crashed again. I’ve tried many things to troubleshoot, including SafeMode, removing apps, simplifying startup… but it still crashes every time within 5 minutes of using it. Safari crashes. Dropbox disappeared. It’s a real f**kin mess. I’m really distraught and disappointed by this failure. I can’t go a day without a laptop. Now I have to figure out how to get a replacement before I send this one back. It’s a true hassle and inconvenience. This is the SECOND item from BackMarket that stopped working within the 1st month. I’ve lost my faith in this company, and I’m unsure I’ll ever shop here again. Beware. They seem great. But their products are hit-and-miss. They obviously aren’t doing proper Quality Control before sending out the refurbished devices.
