Segway Ninebot MAX G2 Electric scooter

scooter came out of the box initially looking decent, minimal wear and tear. but when I went for the first test ride, I apparently discovered that the front fork was bent backwards from the previous owner most likely crashing it. so whenever I stood on it, the deck would press into the front fender and cause a loud squeal as it was rubbing on the front wheel. upon further inspection, the front suspension pole under the rubber accordion cover thing was dented and pitted. plus I wish more packing material was used, lots of empty space left in the box. so that was a bad experience for my first purchase of a refurbished scooter. silver lining, customer service was great and quick for resolution and refund. I'll just spend the extra $200 and get a new one at this point.

The scooter rides fine, but I paid for “excellent” condition and received “good,” at best. The tail light was bashed in on arrival. There’s a tear in the sealant around the wiring, and white powder was splattered along the stem. There’s no way these issues weren’t known before it was shipped. When I reported this to Backmarket, instead of refunding the price difference for the condition downgrade, they only offered a full return—which is a huge pain with an e-scooter. I’m sure that’s exactly what they’re counting on. Don’t buy your e-scooter here. Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, etc. sell the same model for roughly the same price, with far better guarantees and actual customer support. And based on other reviews of this seller, if I had ordered “good” condition, I likely would’ve received something far worse. I've also noticed that they downgraded my purchase from "excellent" to "good" in my account without refunding the difference. So now I know Backmarket is really just a dishonest vendor. This was my second purchase from Backmarket, and both times the item arrived in worse condition than described. You do the math—then buy from a company you can actually trust.

Came in flawless, battery health at 100. Looking forward to using for school this semester.

i was sent a scooter that DOES NOT charge at all it was faulty and the cover was peeling off. I returned the scooter over 1 week ago and heard nothing back. At this point will file a credit card complaint with my credit card issuer to get my money back. Bad service bad quality with backmarket.
