I recently purchased an “Excellent” condition refurbished phone from Back Market, and overall I’m quite pleased with it, however, the delivery left me feeling deflated. As if all the effort I put into researching the perfect model and price point was erased by careless packaging and rough handling. What I liked: Device condition. The phone looks and feels virtually brand-new. There are no noticeable scratches or blemishes, and it powers on exactly as expected. Where it fell short: Delivery and packaging. When the FedEx driver arrived, I watched him toss the box over my metal gate so hard that it landed with a loud thud on the concrete. Inside, I found only a thin bubble-wrap envelope around the phone. There was no additional padding whatsoever, and the outer box wasn’t marked “Fragile” or “Handle with Care.” This careless handling and minimal cushioning left me worried that my “excellent” phone might have taken a hit in transit. Overall: I’m enjoying the phone itself: it’s fast, reliable, and exactly what I needed. However, the delivery and packaging left much to be desired. Ordered the worst condition available(fair) and couldn't tell it wasn't new aside from one or two almost invisible nicks on the metal frame. Highly recommend buying refurbished even if you want something high profile, the price and eco friendliness are rewarding enough not to mention the quality.

This is a great phone for the price. Beautiful OLED screen, a great camera, and a fast and functional OS. For the model itself, it's everything the typical cell phone user could want in a device. At 6.7 inches, this is one of the biggest Android phones on the market right now outside of a folding phone. If you love screen real estate and don't mind the extra bulk, you will love this phone. As for Back Market itself, I purchased a "good" condition phone and the phone's shell came with noticeable scratches, but who cares when it will spend it's life in a case? Perhaps the most obvious issue was a small scratch in the screen itself, but I hardly notice it and, at $600 off the sticker price, I can't complain. Battery life is good enough to last all day and a little more. Another point of consideration with refurbished phones is always the longevity of the device due to its update cycle. The Pixel 8 is when Google began their extended security updates, so as of this writing, the Pixel 8 still has another 5 years of life left. shipping was fast no issues. So far the phone is good and came in great condition. Battery life is amazing but the camera is pretty good. Still learning the phone but happy with the purchase none the less :)

The phone is in really good shape. So far so good! The one issue I've had in the past with Back Market refurbished phones is battery life, which I won't know on this one until later. I'll try to update this once I'm clear on that point.

I purchased the item in "good" condition, but when the item was received I was pretty disappointed. The body was heavily scratched. You could tell that the phone had been dropped many times without a case. The phone was not refurbished compared to their standards. Dust and debris were stuck in the speakers and charging port. I had to clean it out myself. BackMarket made the returns process very easy. Just avoid the 3rd party Pegasus Mobile

Exactly as promised: a like new, refurbished Pixel 8A for 25% off. What more could you want? It didn't go through o the landfill, it's in my pocket being used everyday. As a retired guy, saving 25% did not hurt my feeling in these current times of financial insecurity either. Great service too.
