I really like it! I've been using it at work for 2 weeks now and its been good. Although for the first couple days some of the keys took a second press to type it eventually fixed itself and all they keys work! So I cant really complain, this was my first ever purchase and im very satisfied!

It looks and works like new. I had one of these through my employer for the past couple of years and I worked it hard. Earlier this month the agency updated our equipment, so it has been replaced with a new EliteBook model as the agency rolled out new equipment and updated everything to Windows 11 Enterprise with Windows 10 support ending earlier this month. However, I was in need of a quality Windows 11 capable machine for home. I figured I could score a decent example of the 840 G8 on the aftermarket, and voila! I did just that through Back Market for about 1/5 the price it cost when it was new. These things new are very expensive, and unlike my employer, I do not need the latest and greatest, just something that is still supported and works well for basic office tasks. I really like the form factor and the speakers, and believe it or not, even the 16:9 ratio screen size. Being familiar with the machine through my employer made the choice easy because I know how it works and what it can do. We also have the HP G5 docks at work, and they too work great for those desktop comforts, including dual monitor support, keyboard, mouse, power, and more, all through one Thunderbolt 4 USB-C connection to the dock. So I scored a used one on eBay for half of what they cost new and it adds those desktop comforts at home with easy connectivity and similarity to my work office set up, albeit with second-hand equipment. It makes it easy to switch out my 840 G8 with my new work laptop when I am working from home, and it simply works. The only thing I did was upgrade the RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB, as upgradability is the name of the game with this laptop. A solid choice for a great looking and performing laptop at a fraction of the cost of a new one. For those thinking about it, please keep in mind it is not a gaming laptop as it only has the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics with 1.5 GB of VRAM. It can play some basic games but that was not the intent of the machine. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my Back Market purchase through IT Replay, the refurbisher who sold me the laptop. Great work from IT Replay on the high-quality laptop and equally impressive shipping/packaging, and great work from Back Market for the platform to make the purchase quick and easy. Thank you all!

Omg. Laptop arrived very well packaged, fast delivery and it looked brand new, performance was flawless and easy to set up. I'm a huge skeptic and this is 2nd purchase this month from Backmarmet , Z Fold was earlier this month and it works great 👍. I won't be going back to big box stores nor online stores. Thats right - forget PC Richards etc. Backmarket has replaced them all and has my endorsement !!!!!

This HP Elitebook is in awesome condition. The power supply cord was faulty however, I happened to have one that fit. I'm so thankful to Back market and everyone involved in their movement❣️

This is my third computer purchase from Back Market, and all of them have been absolutely painless. This HP EliteBook X360 1040 G7 looks and works like new, as have both previous computer purchases. I couldn't be happier with it. I'm still learning the nuances of the X360 touch screen/touch pad duality, but I've already cloned the 512GB SSD to upgrade to a 1TB SSD. I am a Back Market customer for life!

To replace my good old Chromie friend (Lenovo C330) I wanted a '14 inch touchscreen Chromebook so I can study my Japanese Kanji, ideally one with a back lit keyboard and 8GB of RAM. After searching around the web, this HP Chromebook X360 was the best deal on the market. She was in acceptable condition and the battery life gets the job done for an older laptop this powerful. I will be keeping her. I was not expecting the device to have a web cam but it indeed does have a front facing camera which works well. This is my third device from Back Market and they have once again exceeded my expectations.

I’ve purchased two of these. (Same seller) My first was broken by my children. 🥴 I’ve absolutely loved them both. I had no issues with the first. Also no issues with the second thus far. Excellent condition as stated. It is fast and sleek looking. Facial recognition, fingerprint entry, backlit keyboard, and the sound is great. (Some of my favorite features) I haven’t had many laptops but this is my favorite by far. I don’t have a ton of reasons for needing one but I can’t think of anything more I would need in a laptop even if I did. One of my best purchases to date. 10/10. Fast shipping from seller as well. 😊
