NO LONGER WATER PROOF.....I feel a little burned. I've purchased multiple phones for my family from Backmarket, and always felt satisfied...until now. My son and I were running to our car in a rainstorm, when we both dropped our Samsung phones in the parking lot. Both are IP68 water resistant, which is a primary reason we purchase these. However, neither of these phones work now due to liquid damage. I contacted Backmarket, and they told me that IP68 phones are no longer waterproof after Backmarket refurbishes them. This is a critical function of this phone which is not mentioned anywhere other than digging through the FAQ's. Backmarket brags about the 27 point inspection they put these phones through, but never once is it mentioned that they are no longer waterproof. Just because I can't visibly see that the waterproofing no longer exists doesn't mean consumers shouldn't be warned that the IP68 rating is no longer valid.

I hate the idea of spending thousands of dollars on a phone, so I was really interested in the refurbished concept. I appreciated all the updates from payment to shipping. I felt a little nervous doing the data transfer and setting up my carrier, but the Back Market articles really helped. I've had the phone for a month now and I really like it. The software is current and I've had no issues with performance and the physical condition of my phone is acceptable. I don't have a bunch of useless carrier apps and it didn't cause financial pain to buy a "new" phone.

I'm satisfied with my Galaxy S23 purchased from Back Market, and would buy again. Why pay full retail when you can get refurbished for much less? Refurbished is actually BETTER because it is more thoroughly tested than new!

Love the refurbished iPhone 12! It took some doing to get it up and running due to a glitch in timing, related to the new ios which had downloaded to my old iPhone but not yet the new one that was in transit at the time... but BackMarket's tech help hung in with me and walked me through what I needed to do to fix the problem. I'm very pleased!

I was scared that it might come not totally unlocked, but I am glad I went ahead to purchase my samsung galaxy s23 ultra. It works perfectly with my mint mobile. no issues. few scratches but a nice deal for a good condition phone. I love it.

First time buying a refurbished phone I bought a samsung 23 under excellent. The phone delivery was fast, phone in excellent condition looks brand new. Everything works as it should so far. Would definitely buy again from back market

Been using my new phone for about a week and a half now. Very happy with the performance so far. It also has an excellent camera. I ordered the product under the fair condition and the sides came pretty scuffed but no actual damages. (And it's all hidden in the case anyway). Fantastic phone and another good refurbished purchase. I will say as a warning, the battery life of this phone is pretty bad, which is because of Samsung, not Back Market. Just keep that in mind when buying.
