    Terrible. Fraudulent company. Ordered a laptop in "excellent condition" -- ran battery test, at half capacity. Was assured they would take care of me, made sure before sending in laptop for a battery replacement that I would get it back. I waited an entire month, after Daniel said it would only take 5 days. Then I get a partial refund sans the service fee, saying they can't put a battery in the laptop, when they in fact, can! But they don't want to take the monetary loss! Now I'm without a laptop for work and inconveniently traveling, where I would be paying a lot extra in tax, all because of BackMarket and BuyRefurbished (the seller). They ignore the fact that they stole my money. And an entire month of my time and lost productivity. They have done nothing to offer to help other than give me a measly 5% discount which is completely negated by a 10% tax that I would now have to pay. WTF. I'm filing all the complaints against this awful company.

    I have had nothing but positive experiences with Backmarket so far, however this time I do feel I was sent an item in “good” condition which was listed as “excellent ” condition. One of the rear cpu fan vents behind the screen bezel is out of place. Maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice? Also the entire outside of the clamshell of the computer has a sticker on it designed I’m sure to cover scratches… which I which they would have just not done. Even with some light scuffing the original aluminum case of this computer would have been more pleasant to look at and touch than a giant Vinyl sticker which is off center to the HP logo. The computer works well, and has the described specifications… I just don’t think you can call something like this excellent. I will post pictures.

    The laptop works fine but was sent with only a 100mb of the HD allocated to system resources which means a windows update could not be installed. I had to download another copy of windows on a USB and allocate more of the 512gb disc space. The hardware works fine but a less knowledgeable user would have likely returned it.

    Really good laptop! Nice and fast! Only problem is that the wifi did not work when it first arrived, so I had to use a wireless wifi adapter to do the updates and then the wifi started to work. BUT it did arrive only a day after I ordered which was 5 days sooner than expected!!

    Fine product over all, certainly a good value. Gotta say, nowhere did the marketing material mention that this 2022 built PC had no Wifi capability. (Apparently Lenovo thought ethernet was good enough for strictly business applications.) In this case, no mention implies no wifi card/capability. (Don't assume something as typical as that will be provided.) And that was a surprise on receipt. Also, my recollection was it was to come with 500gig HD, but it was a mere 256g, pretty damn small for most applications. And Back Market removed the sales ad page once it was ordered so I had no ability to go back and verify that possible bait and switch. Same was true about delivery date. On the order page it was promised 4 BUSINESS days earlier than the promised delivery date post order. Lesson learned. Keep a copy of the original product page and stated promises like HD size and delivery date as what they advertise and what they send/do may vary. I might buy from them again, but solely making sure I retain copies of all advertised promises first. Yes, they delivered as promised, what they promised post payment. No, I am less certain they delivered what was advertised, only what they said was to come post payment. Make copies of the product page prior to making your order!!!! Otherwise, it's working fine - a good machine despite it's short comings.

    This was the first time I've used BackMarket. I received a laptop that was password protected. It took 4 days of back and forth (screenshots, etc) to get a viable response from the seller "BuyRefurbished" and all I got was "just return for refund or repair". This laptop was for my son on his birthday, what a complete disappointment for us. Why ship a laptop with a password? Although BackMarket's customer service was helpful and friendly, I'm pretty disappointed it took so long to resolve. I will never buy from BuyRefurbished again.
