Came with a lot of scratches. Looked really used compared to my last purchase. It didn't also help that my previous order only had an empty box arrive and not a phone in it. I had bought this phone for my dad and the empty box one for my mum. Now I'm going to have 0 gifts for them.

The iPhone 12 that Back Market sent me has a maximum battery capacity of 79%. It was advertised as having at least 85%. I'm returning the phone. Very disappointed with Back Market.

The quality of the item had noticeable scratches (like it had been thrown on asphalt multpiple times) not on the screen but on the sides of the phone, every side. the screens were perfect. But I could tell the screen was replaced. The battery health was at 82% which is below expectations. I bought the phone at "good" condition. Pretty disappointing. Other than that, phone worked perfectly.

First, let me say that I am a repeat customer who is a fan of your mission and have recommended Backmarket to family and friends. This is the first time I have had a problem and would like to pass it on to customer service rather than flame you guys with a bad review. Hoping this doesn't post publicly, my intent is to reach customer service so they have a chance to respond. I ordered an iphone 11 two weeks ago (5/16/2023) but just got around to transferring data over from my old phone last night. First issue was that the new phone was dirty as delivered, it had some very aggressive adhesive on the back adjacent to the camera lenses. The adhesive was very difficult to remove as it would not come off with alcohol - spent quite a bit of time trying not to get any of the adhesive on the lenses. After finishing that task I transferred the data from my old phone, installed the current version of iOS and proceeded to finish setup. After spending all that time, I checked the battery life and found that it was only 79%. Understood this is a used phone, but after googling your policy it reads, "...all smartphone batteries listed on Back Market are checked and tested to guarantee that they have 85% battery capacity." So I am feeling a bit "had" after investing all that effort. Would you be willing to make things right by replacing this phone with one that has a decent battery, or is my only option to ask for a refund?
