    Purchased black iPhone SE 2020 in “premium” grade condition. Should have keep my expectations low because for a price well above the lowest grade the phone is more scratched throughout than what I would have expected from “premium” grade with the accompanied markup. Hopefully battery is virtually perfect for this price (as advertised…). I don’t think the grades in backmarket are as strict or true as they claim. I can’t imagine what the low grade phone condition would have been.

    First of all, the phone had a dirty, sticky smudge on the back that could have been cleaned. Then while doing set up the phone needed to update, which it seems like could have been done before sending it to me. After the 15 minute update was complete, the phone prompted me to update it again, and then it simply did the spinning update endlessly. The phone was dirty and not functional.

    I purchased a phone because I had issues with my old phone's battery. The new phone has a non-OEM battery and I can't see the battery status, nor was I informed of this issue before I purchased the phone. I have no way of checking the battery health. Disappointing I wasn't informed first.

    My first iPhone purchase from Back Market was great! Unfortunately, I dropped that phone on tile and the screen shattered. The optional 24-month protection plan covered that phone completely and quickly :-) This phone purchase has been a nightmare since it arrived. The battery was 76% not the 85% promised on the website. The phone I purchased was Excellent condition- I really expected more. I mailed it back for repair. I removed the e-sim according to instructions. I was informed it was not removed from the iCloud- my bad- I removed it later that day. It was mailed back to me unrepaired. I realized it was still password protected, again, my bad, but I was not informed it was coming back unrepaired or given the option of having the phone wiped clean. This would have been fine as I backed it up before mailing it in. I mailed it back to have the battery replaced after wiping it clean and was informed I'm receiving a refund. I guess that's fine as I'm really tired of dealing with Back Market. The communication via chat has been polite, but my direct questions were not answered.

    I bought the excellent condition of this phone in hopes that it would not have any issues. That’s why I paid more for it, so I wouldn’t have problems. For a week it was great, really performed well. Now the battery is going bonkers. It will drain from 30% to 5% ON LOW POWER MODE in about 10 minutes. Then when plugged in to charge it jumps to 30 in 2 minutes. Something is really wonky. I’d seriously consider before buying from this site. Battery health is at 89% btw.
