I needed a new phone but I didn’t want to buy new just because they’re so expensive. My friend recommended this site and I had bought my last phone refurbished so I decided to buy another one off this website. I bought a used pink iPhone 13 in excellent condition. The phone looks and works great, however the screen is not in the condition I thought I was paying for. At the top there is an imperfection underneath the screen where it looks like the screen has been impacted. There are small bits of blue, green, and black right at the top that resemble the screen of a phone that has been busted. It’s not a big deal and doesn’t affect the use of the phone, just slightly annoying. Other than this I am thrilled with my phone.

I purchased the blue iPhone 13 (128 GB) almost two weeks ago. I was initially hesitant, as I don’t typically buy refurbished devices. However, after reading so many positive reviews about Back Market—and wanting to finally try an iPhone—I figured this was a great opportunity to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email the same day I placed the order, confirming it had already been handed off to the parcel carrier. Had I entered my address correctly, it would have arrived within two days. In my excitement, I accidentally transposed a 7 and a 5 in the street number. Totally my fault. I contacted Back Market support to see if they could help update the shipping info, and while they couldn’t guarantee anything, the support team was friendly and made an effort to assist. Thankfully, I was able to intercept the package at a nearby FedEx office. The phone arrived in a simple white box with a compatible charging cable (no wall plug included). The device itself was listed as “Good” condition, but honestly, I’d say it was closer to “Very Good.” The screen and back were flawless. My new phone has been a really good upgrade thus far. It’s in perfect condition and everything seems to work good. The battery seems to drain a little faster than what Apple said about the phone, but, it hasn’t been a big deal to me. This is probably the 5th phone I’ve purchased from Back Market the past several years and we’ve never had issues with any refurbished phone, so for us, there’s no need to overspend for the latest/greatest phone. And with the ability to trade-in your old phone, Back Market couldn’t have made it any easier to buy a phone.

The phone came with a new charger cable and nice packaging within a week. The appearance was as described (excellent) with only a nick on the rim of the camera, but I was a little disappointed by the 83% battery health. (Had hoped higher.) If in the future, Back Market could list both the appearance condition and the battery health info, that’d make me more confident in making the purchasing decision, rather than feeling like a gamble. Since iPhones have a reset button, I’m not sure what else Back Market did to check or refurbish the phone. I haven’t used the phone much because I’m still waiting on the phone case and lens protector to arrive—the phone seemed fragile to handle—but everything seemed fine. The camera took nice pictures. I was hesitant with purchasing a refurbished unlocked phone but once I received it no damage looked great! And it was able to activate. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend and buy from here again!
