    I've bought 6 used phones from BackMarket so far. Nowadays, a phone typically lasts for 5-8 years. Spending 40% of the price to buy a 2-3 year old phone is a good deal, as there are still 3-5 years remaining -- provided you are not using the phone to do things requiring cuting edge technologies, like to play entensive games or to shoot prefessional videos for your YouTube channel.
