Last month, I bought a laptop from Back Market and opted for next-day delivery, paying an additional fee for this expedited service. Regrettably, the laptop did not arrive until seven days later, significantly impacting my work and personal commitments. I have since reached out multiple times to express my dissatisfaction with this service lapse. However, to my dismay, I have not received any form of acknowledgment, apology, or proposed resolution from your team. The lack of communication and apparent disregard for customer service is concerning and does not align with the high standards I expected from Back Market. Given the circumstances, I believe it is only fair to request a refund of the extra shipping fee I paid for next-day delivery, which was not honored. Additionally, I feel that some form of compensation, whether it be a discount or rebate on this or a future purchase, would be a reasonable gesture of goodwill and an acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. I have always held Back Market in high regard, appreciating your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. When the laptop had not been shipped by the estimated delivery date, I asked why. The answer I was given is that it was lost by UPS. It was never scanned as being received by UPS. They didn't have another and issued me a credit. This was my third attempt to get a fully functioning laptop from Back Market. Back Market reminded me, which I didn't fully understand, that they are just a clearing house for many different sellers around the US. You are really buying from a different seller.
