    It's still super early in the purchase(8 hours) but the laptop I purchased exceeded my expectations. I ordered a Mid 2017 13" Macbook Pro in "good" condition maybe 2 or 3 scuffs on the case, but the screen is good as new, the battery is in "normal" status and holds its charge well. It came shipped with OS 10.12 but I just updated it to OS 12.7. The only issue, which isn't a seller issue or backmarket issue is when I went to set it up the first time I got "stuck" at the Terms and Conditions page. All I had to do to get around it was skip iCloud set up and set it up later. Forutnately this is a well known issue with buyers of renewed/refurbished macintosh products. I got my friend considering purchasing refurbished and I'm glad my experience has been a good example of when buying renewed goes well.

    My problem with the device right now is that it did not come with an Apple charger and it seems like this one of the cheaper brands and it takes much longer to charge the device. Even if they didn't have apple charger they should have included one with more power to decrease the charge time. very disappointed. The one I purchased for my granddaughter had the apple charge and I thought this one would as well.

The laptop did come with more scratches and dents on the corners than I expected, but that is my fault for choosing fair condition lol, but the battery capacity is at 92%, which is actually great! I recommend it if you are a student looking for a MacBook that isn’t too expensive.

    I’m impressed. It arrived in excellent condition—no visible signs of use at all. The battery health appears to be very strong. It came completely discharged (which makes sense after shipping all the way to Kenya), but after charging and setting it up, it’s been performing well. There was some battery drop during initial setup, but that seems normal given the background activity. So far, everything is working smoothly. Overall, great experience with Back Market and I’d definitely recommend them.
