The MacBook Air is a refurbished model. However, it runs perfectly fine. It doesn’t take that long to boot-up my laptop and macOS Monterey runs smoothly. I purchased the MacBook Air so that I can use it for graphic design by using Adobe Creative Cloud.

I bought the MacBook Air 13-inch to replace an ancient and inherited Apple computer. The MacBook arrived on time and set up was pretty easy. I was able to update easily to a newer OS and the computer is good for my purposes. There's a minor scratch on the screen but it was rated as such. It was affordable and I'm glad I made the purchase. Thanks.

Thankfully, my "new" refurbished / restored 2017 Macbook Air was and is / remains to date as advertised! :)

I recently purchased a 2017 MacBook Air from Back Market, and unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Just a few days after receiving it, I noticed that the battery life was severely compromised – only lasting about 30 minutes on a full charge. Now, just a month in, it barely holds any charge at all. The laptop only lasts around 5 to 10 minutes before dropping to red, and unless it’s plugged in continuously, it shuts off and I lose my work. This limitation means I can’t travel with the laptop or use it on the go without being near an outlet. I was also disappointed to find that despite updating the macOS, I still can’t download certain apps. I keep getting error messages that I need macOS version 13 or later, even though I’ve installed all available updates. This outdated software limitation, combined with the poor battery life, makes the laptop far less functional than I had expected. I wish Back Market had been upfront about the battery and software limitations in the product description. I now face the cost of replacing the battery on top of the purchase price. Overall, I’m disappointed.
