    The phone arrived locked for AT&T despite me ordering and paying for an unlocked phone. The customer service has absolutely no remorse and does not care that they inconvenienced you. They offer you nothing unless you can prove you resolved the problem yourself. I used to love Backmarket, but this put a bad taste in my mouth. Now I am having to try to navigate getting assistance on my very broken old phone.

    The device luckily is in good working condition. However, I have had horrible experiences with everything else. The phone I ordered was labeled as rose, the order says beige, and the phone I got is porcelain. Not a big deal to me but consistency is important. For my trade-in, I got 3 emails saying "use the QR code above" with no QR code whatsoever in the email. I contacted customer support about it (which took a day to hear back from). They gave me steps that were not possible from my view of my account. The email from customer support said to simply respond to the email if I needed more help so I did asking to cancel the trade in. Then I got an automated response saying the email was not monitored. Great idea for a company but there were so many inconsistencies and the trade in was way more work than it needed to be and I got a better deal and an easier time through Eco ATM.
