Phone was in pretty good condition, better than expected. However, that's all I can say, the device would not activate, and after literal hours with TMobile support I finally got frustrated and went to the local store, and spent another 3 hours to discover the device was blocked due to "Non-Payment" with a balance of more than what I paid for the device originally. I have ordered from back market before, and generally I am satisfied, but this isn't the first time a situation like this has occurred, and while I know they use 3rd party sellers, I would imagine situations like this wouldn't arise, and be vetted better, but here we are.. again. EDIT: Review photos showing the device block and lock screens were removed by Back Market. TLDR; Really consider your options before purchasing, unless there is someway to verify the IMEI, while I am sure this experience is not typical, it's happened to me twice, along with non-genuine parts issues. I prefer the recycle route to help cut down on e-waste, but with a situation like this, the device is a literal brick and an incredible amount of headache and lost time.. So I guess I'll just stick with buying direct moving forward.
