Bought this phone to replace a customer's phone that had been damaged during repair. The phone's battery is bad. Left on the charger for over an hour with the screen displaying that it was taking a charge, but still would not boot. Luckily we are a battery store and had a battery for this phone model on hand and were able to swap it out for our customer, but having been charge a "quality assurance" fee, I would expect that this should have been caught before shipping. Battery issues aside, the phone's condition is as expected.

I was a bit skeptical with ordering from Backmarket. I never heard of them but I did a google search of reviews and was pleased with the results. I ordered a Galaxy J7 locked to MetroPCS cause my dad broke his phone and was in need of a replacement. The Metro rep wanted to sell him a phone for $250 and I was not okay with that. He doesn't use the technology much. Other than making phone calls, he might occasionally get on Youtube or I may use it to get a text on his behalf but he himself doesn't text. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. I was able to activate it with MetroPlus quickly and easily. He had a gmail so everything transferred over. The phone is great. My dad uses it without issues. I was able to get the apps he does use and customize to his liking. I will definitely consider buying from BackMarket again. They were better than Amazon and EBay.
